[Oreo] Colt OS 8.0.0 Custom Firmware For LG Nexus 4
This ROM is meant for Nexus 4 (occam) alone and I am not sure if it will work on the other variants of the Nexus 4 on other carriers. So if you want to try it, make sure you take a full Nandroid backup.

How to Install Colt OS 7.1.2 on LG Nexus How to Install Colt OS 7.1.2 on LG Nexus
Installing Colt OS 8.0 on your Nexus 4 requires a Unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery installed on your device. If you have this already then continue to the step by step guide but if you don’t have bootloader unlocked and a working custom recovery, follow the guide on how to unlock bootloader and install TWRP on OnePlus 5T. Download TWRP for Nexus 4 here and Nexus 4 USB drivers here
- Download Colt OS 8.0 Custom firmware for Nexus 4 and Google Apps
- Place the downloaded file on the root of your SD card. (Not in any folder)
- Reboot device to Custom recovery (TWRP, CWM, CTR) recovery mode
- Go-to wipe, swipe to factory reset device
- When resetting is complete, go-to advance wipe and wipe the following – Cache – Dalvik art/ Cache – System – Data
- Once the whole wipe is done, go back to your recovery main menu
- Now, select install, choose your storage location and browse The firmware file you downloaded earlier.
- Select the ROM zip file and swipe to Install the ROM zip file.
- Wait untill you get installation completes, then Reboot device.
Viola, now you have Colt OS 8.0 Oreo running on your Nexus 4. First boot may take 5 – 10 min, so you’ve nothing to worry about if device boots longer than normal.
