Asus ROG Phone – Snapdragon 845 SoC, 3D Vapour-Chamber Cooling, 512GB Storage
In one word, the ROG Phone is a Beast with the Snapdragon processor overclocked at 2.96GHz powered by 8GB RAM. There is no doubt this device is designed to compete with the existing gaming smartphones, the Razer phone, Xiaomi black shark and Nubia Red magic.
Overall, the ROG Phone design is very impressive. The design is flashy, yet, incredible. The device has a hexagonal-like design crafted on the body which is really cool.
Asus ROG Phone is a 6-inch AMOLED screen device with Full-HD resolution, 18:9 ratio, and 90 Hz refresh rate. The device also supports HDR and it bags a camera of 12MP + 8MP shooter on the rear side and an 8MP on the front.
ROG Phone comes with some pretty cool accessories, a 3D vapour chamber cool that prevents the device from overheating, a gamepad called Gamevice which turns the device into a portable console. With support for 60GHz WiFi-AD, gameplay on the device can be streamed on a display connected to the WiGig Dock base station
Another interesting accessory Asus has added to this device is the TwinView Dock which adds a second screen identical to the ROG Phone and a 6000 mAh battery making it a dual-screen device.
You can also turn the ROG Phone into a PC using the Mobile Desktop Dock. This dock allows you to connect your smartphone to a monitor, keyboard, mouse, 5.1 speakers and Gigabit Ethernet connection.
