Android 9 Pie (Go edition) To Arrive This Fall With New Features

Following the recently launched Android 9 Pie OS, the tech giant Google has also announced that the stripped-down version of its latest OS to be used on lower-end smartphones. In an official blog post, the company said, with the launch of Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) they are introducing a brand new Go edition experience for budget smartphones.

The Go Edition Android 9 Pie will offer faster boot times compared to Oreo Go edition and the Android Pie standard edition.

Also, the Android 9 (Go Edition) comes with 500MB of additional storage availability unlike Oreo and even more than twice of the standard edition.

You also get Dashboard for tracking and monitoring your data consumption and top-of-the-line security features like verified boot. Aside from these features, the tech giant is continuously adding new features to its Go apps so as to improve their experience.

According to the search giant, Google has announced that it’ll be releasing Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) later this fall.

The Android (Go edition) is currently available on 200+ devices in 120+ countries including India, South Africa, U.S., Nigeria and Brazil and more than 100 manufacturers plan to release Android (Go Edition) devices before the end of the year.
