In an effort to improve trust and authenticity on the popular photography platform, Instagram is allowing its users to apply to have their accounts verified with a blue badge, however, not everyone would be eligible. see the simple step to get your Instagram account verified below

Step 1: Open the Instagram app and navigate to Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap Request Verification.

Step 3 : Type in your account name, full name, and a photo of your ID if you’re a person, or a legal or business ID (upload your ID card i.e your voter’s card, National ID card International passport, driver’s license or any government issued ID card) if you have an Instagram for Business account.

Step 4: Press send

After reviewing your application, you’ll be notified whether your request is approved or denied.
