Infinix S5 Pro seems to be the next big offering from the Hong Kong-based manufacturer into its “S series” smartphone portfolio which everyone has been talking about for some days now. The device has been rumoured to come with a pop-up camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor which is one of the coolest features fans are looking forward to seeing in the device.
The Infinix S5 Pro device will be the first Infinix smartphone to debut with a pop-up camera on a notch-less 6.6-inch Infinity display and a quad-camera setup like the standard Infinix S5.
Infinix hasn’t launched any new Snapdragon-powered device since Hot 6X which debut in 2018 and we might actually get to see a Snapdragon Infinix S5 Pro, however, rumours suggest the S5 Pro will be powered by an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P22, clocked at 2Ghz.
In the camera department, Infinix S5 Pro houses a 16MP + 5MP +2MP + QVGA Quad Rear Camera with LED Flash, same as the standard S5 and 32 MP front-facing camera built into the pop-up camera.
The device is also expected to come with 4GB Ram and 64GB onboard storage assisted with a dedicated sd card slot which can take up to 256GB external storage.
Infinix S5 Pro will run on the most recent Android 9.0 operating system out of the box. We really would love to see an AOSP OS if not, the device will have XOS 5.5 installed.
The device will be fueled by a 4000mAh non-removable battery with quick charge support. Other feature includes VoLTE, in-display Fingerprint sensor, and 4G LTE support.
