Following the recent launch of MediaTek’s Helio G70 and G80 gaming chip, the Shenzhen-based Chinese smartphone manufacturer Realme has announced a budget gaming smartphone, Realme C3, the second smartphone to feature MediaTek’ gaming chip after Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Realme C3 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive display (waterdrop notch display) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G70 gaming chip (Octa-core (2×2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 & 6×1.7 GHz Cortex-A55) supported with Mali-G2 GPU.

The device comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear (a 12MP main + 2MP + LED flash) and an 8MP selfie shooter on the waterdrop notch. There is no fingerprint scanner on this device but I guess the face unlock feature can make up for that.
