There has been several rumours and reports about Samsung’s upcoming flagship devices, the Galaxy S20 series and while we’re waiting to get details of these devices in the forthcoming Samsung Tech event which will take place in March, a new report hints that one of the new Galaxy S20 devices will incorporate 16GB RAM memory.
Samsung will be launching 3 new devices following its usual tradition, S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra. The new report reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S20 series will use the flagship Snapdragon 865 + LPDDR5 + UFS3.0 as standard. In addition, the S20 series will have 12GB and 16GB RAM variant with up to 512GB onboard storage.
Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra are expected to feature a 6.2-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch Infinity-O AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rates respectively. The all-new S20 smartphones will run with Android 10 out-of-the-box with Samsung’s One UI on top.
Samsung Galaxy S20 series will come with 5G connectivity and there will be a 4G version too which will retail in Europe. The standard Galaxy S20 5G will use a 12MP rear triple camera and a built-in 4000 mAh battery, Galaxy S20+ 5G houses a 12MP rear quad camera fueled by a 4500 mAh battery.
As for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, it uses the latest 108MP wide-angle lens assisted with a 48MP telephoto camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens + ToF sensor. This smartphone will also support 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
Samsung S20 Price and Availability
At the moment, there is no official price label for the Galaxy S20 series, however, the S20 Ultra 5G is expected to launch with a price tag of $1,300, Galaxy S20+ 5G may cost €1,099. The Galaxy S20 4G will cost €899 and other 4G variants will retail for €999 in Europe.
