TSTV Relaunch Announcement

I guess a lot of you still remember TSTV? Nigeria’s first indigenous Direct-To-Home (DTH) broadcast service, launched on October 1, 2017 that promised 20GB free data and ended going bankrupted. Well, the company preparing to relaunch its services in Nigeria.

TSTV has the ambition to rescue Nigerians from paying exorbitant prices to foreign operators, which is causing so much headache for other Pay TV in the market and this led TSTV into serious conflict.

TSTV still wants to prove that the dream remains alive on the minds of the promoters. Recently, TSTV has sparked jubilations among Nigerians as they have taken to their Facebook page, to make a statement and announce their relaunch nationwide, all over the country.

Here is the full statement as TStv wrote:

TStv wishes to thank Nigerians for their patience and understanding over the past months. We apologize once again for all inconvenience and appreciate the steadfastness of all those who have stood by us.

We are now pleased to announce that TStv is preparing for a relaunch nationwide and as part of activities leading to the relaunch, TStv will begin test broadcast services from the 10th of September, 2020.

From tomorrow and through the next three weeks, anyone who has Free To Air decoders (including ours) can track the parameters below to join our broadcasts:

Frequency: 11130
Polarity: VERTICAL
Symbol Rate: 30,000

When the sale of TStv decoders commence soon, the full channels list will become encrypted and you will only be able to view the channels with the new TStv decoders, going on sale in a few weeks across Nigeria.
